Have a look at the description at
http://sdb.suse.de/sdb/en/html/rb_internalmodem.html . A description of
how to setup an ISA-PnP device can be found in the 6.1 manual. Basically,
all you have to do nowadays is to run 'pnpdump -c > /etc/isapnp.conf', if
you have a recent version of the isapnptools (I think, 6.1 already came
with such a version).

BTW, I have made the best experiences with internal modems, when the
ISA-PnP functionality was switched _off_ . It is not just by chance that
ISA-PnP means 'Plug Pray' ... . If the modem doesn't run under Windows
without PnP functionality enabled, then you probably have some ressource
conflict.
