Sorry, I am not sure, whether I completely understand you. Are you able to
ping the symbolic names of the machines you want to connect to with
Netscape, or are you using the numeric IP's ? If 'ping www.myhost.com'
works, but netscape can't connect to it, that would indeed be strange.
Try to check, whether you have configured Netscape to go via a Proxy in
that case. If e.g. a 'ping 134.147.136.1' works, but
'ping tau.ep1.ruhr-uni-bochum.de' fails, check in YaST that the Nameserver
setup is still correct.
