Hi Folks,

The next due date for a meeting is

Saturday 18 December 1999

Quite a few newcomers to Linux came along to the last meeting
(20 November). I have had a few requests that it would be
nice, as beginners, to have the opportunity to discuss Linux
with experienced users, and to be shown how to do various things.

This seems a good idea, especially at the Season of Good Will.

I propose, therefore, that next time (18 December) we all just
turn up, get to know each other, and chew fat of various kinds.
In due course we can implement the Christmas Spirit as seems best.

Of course, if anyone wants to bring boxes for assisted installation
that would be welcome too.

For those who would like to learn more about what Linux is capable of,
it would be good if those of us who know a thing or two would share
their knowledge and experience.

I dare say the venue will be as usual: confirmation later.
