Still having bother with custom kernel...

Well, after making sure I`d cd` to /usr/src/linux....

I did the following (again) to find that I still don`t have a zImage to
transfer to /boot.

>make mrproper
>make config/menuconfig/xconfig
>make dep ; make clean
>make boot
>make modules
>make modules_install

The readme in /usr/src/linux suggests this:

make mrproper
make xconfig
make dep
make zImage
make modules
make modules_install

but STILL no zImage.

What on Earth is going on? This should be easy, shouldn`t it?
