Thanks for writing :-)

erm.. I'd say yes :-) It's a combination of factors which are hard
to define. For one thing a younger generation have come along who
can't read and who think that the American culture is really the same
as ours. If they knew the difference they probably wouldn't get out
of bed in the morning ?

We are severely brainwashed here in the UK in to believing that high
prices are necessary in order to promote employment and wealth. To
my own way of thinking this is extremely stupid and is rather like
the dinosaurs looking for more and more food after the impact of a
large meteorite ?

The fact that large crowds of grazing accountants and finance people
and private investigators who are nothing to do with PCs or
information technology demand and get large backhanders to cover up
the truth doesn't ever reach the public at all ?

Well, we tend to do this as an informal thing. Problem is that if
any retail shop or other institution around Sheffield gets the idea
that Sheflug people are around they double their prices right away.

The only thing you can get from Dixons is a completely incompetent
pile of crap in the way of verbal diarrhoea :-)

Thank you :-)
