If you installed more than one resolution, just CTRL ALT + or CTRL ALT - to
cycle through them.

If you didn't install all the available resolutions, in SuSE use SaX to add
resolutions or use Xconfigurator in RH. Or use xf86config in any dist.

Hey folks.

Thanks to some interference from my flatmates Windoze machine (I tell
not a word of a lie!) I`ve now got sound on my TV card....I just need to
know how to resize to screen so that the card`s output fills the screen.

I`m running X at 1024x768  [at] 32bpp (Gnome as well, if that helps) and I
need to resize to 800x600.

Video card is an ATI Xpert 98 (8Mb). Monitor is a 19 Dell 1226H...

Horiz sync is ~30-100
Vert sync is ~50-120

(above figures are as close to the actual figures as I can remember).

I have no idea, even after reading the video-timings how-to.
