two things...
First,
At the sheffield lug meet, I asked about a start up file and was told
the boot.local in /etc/ - ummm.... thank god for Midnight
Commander a search found the file in /sbin/init.d/
I just thought I had better put that forward...
Second, (you'll like this)
I have gained a copy of Win NT for the sole purpose of developing a
couple of Windows apps that I have been asked to do. Put in the
install cd, installed a bit and then required a reboot (one of many...)
it also warned me that it was taking over the boot up sector and
disable the boot up to other OSs but can it can be changed after
the install of NT. I thought ok... rebooted and booted up straight
into LILO, defaulting to Linux... hmmm...heh heh heh Linux I love
you... Oh one thing, I was told that NT can read Linux
partitions...um how?
Cheers
