Still got NFS woes...

OK, Re: my `NFS woes` question from the other day...

Right, I`ve added the extra line to my /etc/hosts.allow file, and it hasn`t
helped.

However, whilst running rpcinfo -p, I noticed one difference between what I`m
getting, and what the HOW-TO suggests.

Here is what I get...

program vers proto port
100000 2 tcp 111 portmapper
100000 2 udp 111 portmapper
100005 1 udp 873 mountd
100005 1 tcp 875 mountd
100005 2 udp 878 mountd
100005 2 tcp 880 mountd
100005 3 udp 883 mountd
100005 3 tcp 885 mountd
100003 2 udp 2049 nfs

Now, the HOW-TO seems to suggest I`ve got about 4 too many mountd`s running,
and I`m one nfs short:

10003 2 tcp 2049 nfs

in particular.

I guess not having a tcp nfs running is a bad thing? How do I sort that out?

Cheers, Baz.
