did you create a partition called swap or actually set the type to swap in
DiskDruid ? You should be able to edit the swap partition in Disk Druid
set the type to Swap.

The problem now, is that although I can configure all my Linux partitions
in Disk Druid, after completing and telling it to write the partition data
to the disk it tells me that I haven't configured a swap partition,
although in reality I have.
