Blue Screen events are usually unheralded. If the sys admin set auto-reboot
and no provision for keeping the crashdump you're in the lap of the gods
finding out what went wrong, if your system does reboot.
The situation is made worse when divot users get fed up of Dr watson
messages, instead of phoning the Helpdesk to report them they .......delete
Dr Watson!! A bit like putting a bit of tape over your daskboard to stop
the oil light winking at you.
A reboot like that generally has a good reason! It might be worth your
while finding out what's wrong. NT is stable enough to realise when it's
about to crash as a general rule ;)
