RE: Partitions



Long term the hdd is outa here - solid state devices will eventually take
over, but before then r/w high speed optical disks and the like will push
data capacities through the roof. Until Windows 2010 comes out..... Until
the industry abandons the backwards comapatability issue of DOS access to
large hdds, we're going to be saddled with archaic stuff like worrying
about disk geometries, translation etc.

I thought as much, I just didn't want to say it. Do you think it is
possible to push the industry to redesign the hard drive?
