Can't View Web Pages or send and Receive e-mail

I saw something similar recently with ppp 2.3.10, kernel module says
2.3.7. That mismatch could have been it. I've had random flakiness
with PPP ever since the release of kernel 2.2. Sometimes PAP works,
sometimes not.

Anyway, my ISP supports chat logins, so I'm working around that way
for now. But I don't think that's available for ISDN?
