Yeah, but with a high speed (400Kbps) serial card for the grand
sum of twenty quid...

One point to quickly add, and that's that I have had the need to
reset the TA (external ZyXEL jobbie) about 4 or 5 times in a year.
(Line stays up, no comms with the device and sending ATH and
+++ type commands or killing ppp doesn't seem to work. Switch it
off and on, and all is well for another few months - quite odd.)
