Not sure, CLARANET (www.clara.net) seems to have the best value at the
moment as far as I can tell with their unlimited off peak calling and
1p/min 24x7 packages. Unfortunatly they won't let you have both on the
same phone line which is a shame. It also needds a BT phoneline so you an
use their special indirect dial code which switches the billing over to
them.

Purplenet claims to be offering off peak 0800 internet access for
49.95/month but I don't know if it's working yet.

X-Stream's 0800 works great and is free but might take you a half hour of
BUSYs before you can actually get on.

Callnet0800 will probably open up registration next month (free 0800 24x7)

24-7freecall.co.uk is opening next month (24# / month unlimited 24/7 0800)

I think next month we'll see a lot of freecall ISPs opening up next month
to try and grab the market before BT Surftime is available in march when
everything will be much cheaper.

I would wait until next month before signing up for Localtel (or anyone
else) since you may very well find yourself canceling almost immediatly.
