I'm afraid that (being from Sheffield) I don't understand why there's
a need to have all of the UNIX systems in the south of England.
After all they have a green belt problem which is much more serious
than ours up here in Sheffield ? The Post Office have recognised
this problem and their HQ is over in Chesterfield. There's always
loads of UNIX contracting going on over there.

Just to add another point to the above. Our new list will be run
from a server in New Zealand. The list admin (other than myself) is
one of the best on this planet. Why do we need all of this
processing power in our country (other than as a spy station for our
American partners ? ). When I can run our own discussion list from
NZ and do it with dialup from home then perhaps someone may not be in
touch with something somewhere ?

Or perhaps, the international Linux community can read a bus ticket
(like the price ? ). Unlike other UNIX or Windoze users ?

Thanks
