It's not just UNIX - the M4 corridor is the source of all things technical
in this country. It's a historical reason mainly (military development,
electronics hardware, etc.), but also, like attracts like and the IT
industry is well known for it's highly fluid workforce as well..

Unfortuantely, I don't think that's a general rule that applies :((
