Well, 2.2 kernels do set up routes for you automatically. So you
don't have to worry about it.

That sounds familiar. Try `route add -host 192.168.0.1 eth0' on
marlboro. Try ftp from arrakis after pinging arrakis from marlboro.

If that doesn't work, send the contents of /etc/hosts and the results
of `route -n' and `arp', all for both machines.
