Lots of those seem to use the NCR/Symbios 53C8xx series, try
`modprobe sym53c8xx'.

But a lot of the 53Cxxx derivatives aren't supported, I suspect the
chip itself requires a lot of external support (so it's cheap) and
scanner mfrs often skimp on the external support since their cards are
not intended to really manage a real SCSI bus.  OTOH, if that Zilog
really is an 8000-series CPU you may be in luck.
