I`m just gonna throw my sixpence in - I`m using PGP 5.0i - nay bother.
Check out http://www.pgpi.com for international versions - which aren`t
really all that different to the US versions.
I haven`t used GNUPG - so I can`t comment on it.
However, running pgp50i on a RedHat6.1 box, I`ve had no problems at
all.
Are you trying to set the keyring somewhere other than default?
