Re: 2.2.13 - modules - failed dependancies




I presume you did a make dep as well as everything else .. but sounds like
something ain't compiled right. Have you tried 'modprobe' instead of
'insmod'? And I presume you did a 'make modules_install' thingy?

Other than that, I can only suggest replacing your source tree, and
compiling from scratch (without configuring firstly) and see if that
works.. really, it seems only the the dynamic linker is having problems,
so either you've got incorrect version modules, or you've not updated the
dependancy tree, or something like that. I usually find the error messages
from the module system are less than helpful, I find it most confusing
sometimes :( .. usually, they're more 'symptom' rather than 'problem'
related messages ;)
