RE: Linux For Windows

ok, here's what the ICL Microsoft helpdesk (ICL internal desk) in
Footscray, Kent (ICL outsource MS' helpdesk operations globally - if anyone
can give a definitive statement "straight from Bill's mouth" it's them.
Here's what they have told me:

The MS license, in the case of my laptop, is personal - it applies to my
laptop and my copy of Win98. It does not matter where it is used, the
license applies and there is no implication for the site where it is used
EXCEPT if it is attached to an NT server and the no. of valid licenses on
that server is then exceeded by making the connection.

If you can provide evidence that other regulations apply please do so.
