Zip Drives...

Alright, see if anyone can figure this doozy out...

 * Zip 250, connected to parallel port (hardware fine, works on other  -
linux - machine)
 * Imm compiled as modules (kernel module support turned on ;)
 * 'modprobe imm' - no errors.
 * Imm reports talking to device on kernel info term
 * lsmod reports imm & scsi subsystem as alive and well.
 * 'cat /proc/scsi/imm/0' (or whatever) gives me the drive status
 * imm won't load with device turned off.

Can I mount sda4? Can I bobbins. 

Much gnashing of teeth. If I've missed something obvious, someone please
put me out of my misery before I need dentures :(.
