First Linux I installed was Slackware - 3.2 - so its going back a few 
years...in fact, I had that on my machine until I thought it was time to 
upgrade. That's when SuSE 6.2 went on :)

I know of an older Slackware box though...our company firewall, apart from 
the kernel, hasn't been upgraded at all...the CD's state it comes with kernel 
1.9.<summat> (IIRC)...now running 2.0.32...

Next major upgrade will be a different distribution again - I like variety :) 
Wno't be for a year or two though yet. :)
