Re: ip routing




Sounds to me like you haven't got DNS set up. Having HOSTS etc. on your
linux machine just means that the linux box knows which machines are which
- you'll either need to put a HOSTS file on your Win machine, or configure
one of your servers as a DNS server and use that. There's a good howto on
DNS stuff. You'll want to lookup named, and stuff like that. There's also
some good basic cut-down DNS daemons available on freshmeat - I generally
use those for small networks, usually a bit faster ;)
