XFree86 4.0
So, XFree86 4.0 then,
I downloaded and installed it today, and it seemed to slide straight in
there without (much of) a hitch.
Seeing as I got it from the SuSE server, I got Sax2 aswell. Can't say that
I'm impressed. XF86Setup still tops Sax. Anyways, I have a
(small) problem.
Although the server works, and everythings hunky-dory (apart from the
color of curses apps in the new xterm. Works in Konsole tho') I am having
trouble with 3D acceleration. When I run a GL game (such as X_Racer, for
the sake of argument) I get the message 'Fatal error: OpenGL GLX
extensions not supported by display 0:'
I tried loading the old glx.so module from 3.3.6, but that didn't work. Is
there an equivelant version available for 4.0?
I could probably find out by searching, but I'm busy (and lazy) at the
mo', so any help would be great.
