[Sheflug - Sheffield Linux User's Group] Re: On LinuxToday... erm... today :)

just as a point of personal amusement (well I thought it was funny). I
was in the Sheffield Tax office a fair few weeks back (Yes the Tax Man
actually owed me money), and what did I see on the front desk at
reception but what appeared to be a late model Commodore 64. I made some
joking comment to the receptionist about it, asking about Y2K
compliance, she wasn't amused. She then ranted for a bit about how much
of a pig it was. It was attached to an equally ancient dot printer. A
prime example of legacy kit if I'm not mistaking.
I only hope they have a copy of the winter Olympics for it to play after
(Or during) work, I've still got my copy :-)
