See also hwclock ??  Do.....

hwclock --date [time - format is 00:00:00] --set
hwclock --show
hwclock --debug
hwclock --test
hwclock --hctosys [set the hardware clock in accordance with the
hardware clock]
hwclock --systohc [set the hardware clock in accordance with the
system time]

See also....  man hwclock.
