I've had this. I don't have the machine handy, but I seem to remember I
rebuilt openssl and apache, and uncommented a few more things in the
makefiles. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

If anyone actually has a *working* SSL'd apache, then I've a few
questions to ask myself. I've created the test certificates and the
browser appears to go through the motions, pops up a dialogue box
warning that the certificate is from an unknown/unverifyed source, and
then comes back with a blank page.
