Not a problem.... to reinstall with a small user footprint, log on as
user (not root), delete your local Office directory (rm -rf Office51)
after saving any document files you may have created so far if you want
to save them (usually found in ~/Office51/work ) and then run setup for
StarOffice again (/opt/Office51/bin/setup) at an xterm prompt, this
time choosing a small "networked workstation" install.
As mentioned in other posts on this subject, one of the really GREAT
things about Linux over Windo$e is that even on the same machine each
user can have a totally unique login and setup using different window
managers, shares and programs if they so desire and no user can
interfere with any other user's setup unless they have root
permissions.... Each user's system and program preferences are
unique....
