Oh sh*t. a lower-case L. Mmm. Sorry, I'd been typing, oh well, you knew...

Yep, I've finally found that libjpeg.rpm, let's see what happens. A while ago
I had to go looking for a more recent version of ppp, when I updated my kernel
from 2.2.10 to 2.2.14, as I couldn't find it at SuSE's site. But hey, they did
give me the most recent version of The Gimp (i.e. extremely unstable) so I
could download the last stable release to install instead.
The sad thing is I think that if this was a Microsoft problem, we'd all be
having a field day. Would anyone from SuSE care to comment on where the
required package is?

The libjpeg.rpm has just downloaded whilst I'm writing this, I've installed and
it's made absolutely no difference. So a Red Hat or Turbolinux RPM it is.
Thanks again
Harvey
