That's not just the Turnbull approach - it's the approach which should be
taken if you want to have a clue about how to do things for yourself.

If you think it's beneficial, nobody is stopping you from writing a program
to do it.  This is Linux, after all - you're encouraged to write code.

If you don't have the necessary skills and knowledge to do so, you have
several options:

1)  Learn the skills and knowledge needed ,then do it.
2)  Pay someone with the skills and knowledge to do it
3)  Wait until somebody with the skills and knowledge does it
4)  Give up and do it some other way, or
5)  Give up and don't do it.

The problem, mainly, is that nearly everyone who as the knowledge to do it
sees little need to do it, since they can get by as it is.  The production
of esy tools usually comes from source 2, or the very occasional strange
individual who feels like writing it for the clueless newbies out there.
