RE: [Sheflug] Suse 6.4 Question and Queries
Yeah, with the ftp install i've done it with mandrake, rh and even freebsd
but it just seems bizzarre that you need that much ram.
I'll have a go at re-installing the machine tommorow and see if i can puzzle
out what i need, i do agree with you that the directory names are a bid odd,
confused me somewhat.
Thanks very much for your help and i'll try having a dig around the web
tonight about radius, once i'm home.
Thanks
Si.

Nope, 32Mb on my copy. More than the 24Mb my laptop has, though. I don't
really see where all the RAM is going either - all the other installation
methods don't require that much.

Yeah, there is. If you modify the configuration it will let you choose
each package in all the different folders. I do wish SuSE would move away
from gra1, gra2, etc. - I find it *really* difficult to install anything
using RPM outside of the YaST system, although that could be intentional.

No idea ;) I presume they must have a website - have you tried googling
for 'radius server linux suse' or something?
Cheers,
Alex.
