This stuff all looks fine (and pretty nice :). I've had trouble with Zip
drives working OK in the past though.

Andre Hendrick (The ATA Guy) has added ATA/100 support in the development
kernel branch but it isn't necessary as most boards fall back nicely to
ATA/66 or 33. The machine I am writing this on is based on the previous
incarnation of the VIA Super South Bridge that does ATA 66 and things seem
to work just fine. If you need the speed then you may have to wait a
while for it to stabilize (it WILL be in 2.4) but it is in the latest
development kernel (2.4.0-test2).
