This is a little bit like the SuSE 6.4 problem we encountered with
Nutscrape.  Way to fix it was to go to the SuSE ftp site and download
nsfix.rpm and xshared.rpm.

I tried this with Red Hat 6.2 and Nutscrape still crashed in the way
you described.  Only way to fix it was to use SuSE 6.4 and the above
rpms.  TRy it and see what happens ?
