as86 - 80x86 assembler. You've done something very strange there. It's in
binutils (I think?), and I don't really see how your system has been able to
compile any modules without it, but there we go...
BTW, a neat trick to pop stuff like this into a text file:
make bzImage 2>&1 > debug.out
Having done that you get a text file, debug.out, that has all the output
from the compilation. That would be considerably smaller than a png, and
will mean you don't have to keep putting these christmas turkeys in the
post - I only have a 9'600 baud modem, you know ;)) BTW, your background
image is awful ;P

Have you configured SAMBA to share anything out?

Go into the KDE configuration options. There is a window configuration
option, where you can move around the main buttons and take them off if
requested. You should be able to turn close off in there ;)
