You may also find that these things are built on specific versions of a
kernel (some 2.0), so you may have to install a number of different trees on
your machine. Be careful not to mix them up! Also, if you are compiling from
a single tree, remember to save your configurations in different files.

On a dialup line, this is probably true, although depends how long you stay
connected :))
