Re: [Sheflug] Looks like swap memory hassles
I figure I'll post an update on one of my older threads (at end of
page).
I had some sort of problem with virtual memory on my RH6.2, running
kernel 2.2.16 (vanilla + Alax Cox's combo patch) and large amounts of
swap (~1Gb).
I emailled Alan Cox - who suggested I upgrade to 2.2.17pre20 (which has
been submitted to Linus to become 2.2.17) - which doesn't have this
weakness with the VM side of the kernel.
