[Sheflug] Can't figure xhosts, xauth and Xsecurity.

Sounds like you got Xauth'd during an upgrade.

Try a different syntax:  xhost +local:.  As mMartin mentioned, you may
need to be more specific about the server with something like xhost -d
:0 +local:.
