I checked (needed to run sndconfig first time I booted with the card in) and
the SB PCI128 worked with an Ensoniq driver that RH came up with. But "lots
of noise"? No. A little noise. I have to turn my speakers right up; under
windoze I get plenty of volume. I couldn't find any way to turn the volume
up--can the driver be tweaked or configured in some way?
I guess whether sound cards work under RH must be heavily influenced by the
rest of the hardware setup.

cheers,
Matt.
