I do this on my Win2K box with Mix:

Make sure MIX is running on the PC
Login using telnet

Then type

export DISPLAY=hostnameorIP:0.0
xterm &

(substitute host name or IP address in the above)

this will open an xterm window on MIX

in the Xterm strart your fave window manager by typing kde, gdm or whatever.

I have heard very good reports about exceed and would love to get my hands
on a copy. I understand you can run a JAVA? based X server in you client PCs
web browser, sounds good to me, but I would like to see it in action, speed
etc. I know a demo version for WIN95/8 is shipped on the first SuSE disk
(6.4) but I run WIN2K so thats blown it.
