RE: [Sheflug] pc x server
You could try VNC, from AT&T.
http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/
VNC is a freeware X client for Windows, Linux etc. All you need do is start
the server session on the Linux box, the users then just run the client
pointed at the server. Password authentication is required so there is some
level of security, albeit not up to ssh standards. I use this to get Win95
on my Linux box & KDE on my Win95 box.
In fact, it's a fun party trick to have a Linux box running VNC with a
connection to a Win95 box running MS Orifice, pressing the print button and
the Linux-hosted printer delivering the page via Samba. When you ALT-Fx to
a text console you can hear the jaws drop for miles :-))
