Well, you happen to be proselitysing about most of his software
in this list. The author is ESR, who among other things wrote fetchmail.
Moreover, his "jargon file" is considered the standard of hacker
vocabulary. Now, if you don't like it, fair call, but slagging it off
like that is IMO out of order.
And, please note that my collaboration in Sheflug has _nothing_
to do with me being in Sheffield University. Note that the above e-mail
was sent from a private ISP and not from my Uni account (as this one has
been).
