It's allegedly in feature freeze and only critical bugs will be fixed.
test9 should be out late today or tomorrow, and is the final test with a
bit of luck.

Nope. 2.0.x is still maintained. Alan Cox is the 2.2.x maintainer, and
will probably stay that way. 2.0.x will probably fade away, but 2.2.x will
likely be with us a while longer.
