My take on this -- games to the best part, and also Internet 
Exploder...whilst Netscape used to be good, its not kept up, and so far I'm 
not impressed with Mozilla (too slow). The only viable alternative in the 
near future I can see for browsers on Linux is Opera.

I grew out of keeping up to date with bleeding edge kernels one year or two 
ago :) And 2.4 is still on tenterhooks, especially with the VM stuff (see 
http://kt.linuxcare.com/kernel-traffic/latest.epl#11).
