Look under the Gnome and KDE directories. Do 'whereis gnome' and
'whereis kde'. You should be able to create a desktop icon or taskbar
icon for each program. That's how I use mine.

This is normal with Linux. MS Windoze will work with any old crappy
hardware. When you try to use it with Linux you'll find any faults.
If you do need to get hold of an NE 2000 card that works then go to
Maplin Electronics and they'll sell you one for about £15.

As I said don't bother to waste money talking to them :) By the way,
you are using an ISA modem card aren't you ?

They *do_not_have* any security at Compuserve at all.
