That was my idea when I tried it. I didn't want to bother swapping the
partitions around, which would have been the best method, and so I thought
that I could just move parts of the directories around and link them back to
where they should be and see what would happen. I knew that if it did all go
wrong I could always reinstall it all as there was no important data on
there, so I wasn't really bothered about that, and I was really pleased and
surprised when it actually worked out.
