[Sheflug] what's up with SuSE Mail Client?

Hello, me again.

Another problem . . .

Not even logged onto the Internet yet, load Mail Client and I'm told I've got
over 2000 messages in my Sheflug folder (there shouldn't be any more than about
300 or so).

Most of these messages are four copies of things I've deleted a long time ago
and consigned to the trash folder (which has subsequently been emptied).

Also, things from my trash folder keep reappearing in the inbox folder and any
other folder they may have once been in.

It's all very strange.

any ideas, anyone? Anything to do with resolv.conf?
