From my little understanding on the topic, isn't this one of the
things Progeny tries to address with it's "Network of Workstations"
(NoW) thing? NoW is something different (pool resources on a network
basis, not on a host basis, a bit like Level 9 or whatever the chaps at
Bell Labs call it), but...
Anyway, just my 2p :-)
