Well, I've unzipped the static one and then clicked on the 'opera'
executable in the file manager.  It works.  Very nice :)  On start up
it tells me that I'm using a 30 day evaluation version.  So, I can
just keep on re-using it.

It's a lot like Konqueror.  Small, light, reliable, hasn't crashed
yet.  Much better than Nutscrape.
