[Sheflug] LOCKED OUT HELP PLEASE
Dear all.
I.m locked out of my Linux systmn SuSE6.4, I was trying to get a graphical
log in for KDE. proir to going to KDE2, I allerted the line in /etc/inittab
from run init2 to init5 as the KDE book says you should. but when I start up
the thing just locks and all I get is a flashing cursor in stead of a
graphis login screen as the book said.
I've mounted the rescue systmn from the cdroms, and get the rescue prompt
but when I type etc/inittab to change the file all I get is access denied.
Can anyone help? how do you use the rescue systmn? or where can I get more
info.
as I'm really stuck
Thanks Bob fallis
